Lord - Lane McElravy
I’m so excited and honored to be serving as your 2025 Washington State Rabbit Breeders Association (WSRBA) Lord! I’m from Shelton, Washington, and I’ve been involved in 4-H for several years now. Rabbits are a huge part of my life—I currently raise and show Polish, Florida Whites, and New Zealands, and I absolutely love every part of working with them, from daily care to the thrill of the show table.
Serving as the 2024 WSRBA Lord was an amazing experience. I learned so much, made great memories, and met so many incredible people along the way. I’m beyond thrilled to continue this journey into 2025 and to represent youth breeders across our state once again.
I had the opportunity to compete at the ARBA National Convention, where I placed 2nd Runner-Up in the national Lord contest. It was an unforgettable experience and something I’ll always be proud of.
I’m really looking forward to this year—traveling, showing, learning, and encouraging
younger members just getting started in rabbits. Thank you for trusting me to be your 2025
Lord. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!
Lady - Jamie Snedden
Hi my name is Jamie Snedden and I am 8 years old. I am in Second grade at Winlock Miller
Elementary School. I live with my Mom, Aunt Shannon, Uncle Brian and my sister Abigail. I started showing my Mini Lops in Open Shows at 4 years old. When I turned five I started showing in the youth shows. I am a member of the Washington State Rabbit Breeders Association, American
Rabbit Breeders Association and Mini Lop Rabbit Specialty Club. I raise and show the Mini Lops and
love them. My favorite thing about the Mini Lops is their personalities and how snuggly they are. I also love when the babies are born, because they are so fun and cute. I love going to rabbit shows where I can compete and make new friends. I love to go to rabbit shows because I can compete in type, showmanship and skill testing. This past year some of my biggest accomplishments were I won some Best in Shows and some Reserve in Shows. Last year at the state convention I also won Lady in royalty, this is a big accomplishment for me because I worked and studied hard. I also did things to earn money to go to Louisville Kentucky for nationals last year where my junior doe took 3rd place and I won second runner up for lady! I am also working on my interview process since I’m shy and have a hard time talking to new people. When I grow up I want to be a teacher. When I am not showing or taking care of my rabbits I love to play softball, read my Junie B. Jones books with my Uncle Brian , do artwork to give to others and play fun games with my sister. I also love to go to the park and the zoo with my mom and Aunt Shannon to take pictures.
Princess - Audrey Ingalls
Hello! My name is Audrey Ingalls and I am 10 years old. I am in 5th grade at Pinewood Elementary in Marysville, WA. This is my 3rd year in 4-H and my first year competing in royalty! I started showing my first rabbit, a Mini Lop named Clover, when I was 8 years old at 4-H shows. I now have 3 rabbits, and my project has progressed a lot! I have not bred any of my rabbits yet, but I plan on doing so soon! My favorite thing about showing rabbits is getting to meet all the new people and all the new rabbits. Some of my biggest accomplishments are winning Junior Grand Champion in showmanship at the Evergreen state fair and 1st place Breed ID in the junior category at the WSRBA fall show! My current showmanship rabbit is a Holland lop doe named Phoenix. When I am not showing or playing with my rabbits, I am playing with my friends, playing video games with my family, reading, playing baseball with my brothers, or reading even more! Showing at the fair is something that I look forward to all year, It’s always my favorite week of the year! In 4-H, I also show Angora goats and Sheep. This is also my first year bringing a Rabbit to the Puget Sound Junior Livestock Auction, which is also very exciting! I would like to thank my 4-H leader Kody, My rabbit leader, Jessica, my mom; Aprill Wogsland-Ingalls, my dad, my brothers, Emerald City 4-H Club, all of my friends and mentors in 4-H, and everybody else that has helped me along the way. You all have helped me so much and I am very grateful. I would also like to thank my rabbit Phoenix, who put up with me endlessly handling her.
Duke - Aidan McCurdy
Hello, my name is Aidan McCurdy. I am from Arlington, Washington and I am 13 years old. I started showing cavies in 2022, when I joined 4-H. I have participated in 4-H shows, local community, county and state fairs, and open ARBA & ACBA shows. I really like participating in royalty and have decided to participate in other youth contests whenever I can.
I have 72 cavies! Americans and American Satins are my favorite. I am working on breeding American Cal pattern cavies in a few different colors. I am hoping to have American Satin Cals soon. I plan on producing Grand Champion Cals!
In the last year I have traveled a lot for shows and have shown in Washington, Oregon and even Canada. My trip to Canada was the first time I left the United States, I hope to be able to go back this fall.
When I’m not doing something that is related to cavies, I like to play with my friends, ride ATV’s, and play video games. I don’t play on any sports teams, but I enjoy playing basketball and soccer with my friends.
Duchess - Bethany Menge
Hi! My name is Bethany Menge. If you happen to be reading this then that means I am your 2025
WSRBA duchess. I am so honored to have achieved this accomplishment and will do my best to represent WA at later competitions. I have had rabbits for seven years. I started off in 4-H showing Rex. I also had one Mini Rex Dutch Cross who I used for showmanship. For years I only did 4-H except for a couple of small ARBA youth shows. It wasn’t until 2022 when I first went to the WSRBA convention that I started getting more serious about showing in non 4-H shows. At this convention I competed in royalty for the first time and also got an agouti Rex breeding trio. It became my goal to breed a line of Lynx Rex. I am still working on achieving this goal. I have bred one Lynx, but Lynx are a very difficult color to get – so I do not yet have a line. Even though getting a line of Lynx has been difficult, I am still so glad that I am trying. Getting the original agouti trio gave me the push I needed to start showing in more ARBA shows. In 2023 I went to the American Rabbit Breeders Association Convention for the first time. It was an amazing experience (You should go!). I went to this convention wanting to get another breed – as all rabbit raisers do! I ended up getting a Creme D’Argent. I now have a full breeding program of Cremes, including rabbits that have earned grand champion certificates! I have also showed my rabbits at different livestock sales. I absolutely love raising rabbits and am always excited to learn more. In 4-H I do other projects too; gardening, sewing, creative arts, photography, and public presentations. Outside of 4-H I also do a lot of different activities. I race bikes(two kinds!), compete in speech and debate(I just went to nationals in Oklahoma a few weeks ago!), have been in two school plays, and have a farm! I raise sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, and used to have pigs. Someday I hope I can raise cows. Lots of people have helped me with my rabbit career. Thank you to my 4-H friends and thank you to my parents; Chris and Melanie Menge. Thank you to Josh and Maria Benjamin, Stacy Dekoekoek, Michael Killion, Jodi Davis, Lily Felure, Ket Davis, Mara Lautzenheizer, Maddy Benjamin, Susan Browne and Beth Kovich – you all have helped me so much, and at different stages of my career. I also want to thank the entirety of the rabbit community. You guys are amazing. Good luck in your future rabbit adventures!
King - Micah Menge
My name is Micah Menge. I am homeschooled and am a sophomore in high school. I have shown rabbits for seven years and breed Rexes on my farm, Cherry Hill Farm in Duvall, Washington, with my family. My family’s adventure with rabbits started in September 2018 when we joined the Greensleeves 4-H club. My club taught me how to compete at 4-H shows and helped me learn about rabbits and how to take care of them. 4-H is really where I developed my love for rabbits and showing them. Over time I’ve gotten more and more involved in not just 4-H but branching more and more into the American Rabbit Breeders Association and, as a result, the Washington State Rabbit Breeders Association. In 2023 I competed in the Washington State Rabbit Breeders Association Convention for the first time and got the royalty title of duke, while last year I was unable to compete because I was in Japan during this convention for an exchange program. This year I will be trying to become royalty once again, now as a king. I’ve been showing and breeding rexes for a bit, but I am definitely still trying to expand my rabbitry and improve my rex tricolors. I have participated in the Evergreen State Fair for the last 6 years and three of those years I have auctioned off a meat rabbit for the Evergreen Youth Livestock Auction. I have many hobbies, including board games and video games, reading, and 4-H. I also compete in a nationwide speech and debate league on a national level called Stoa. I also feel a need to thank some people that have really helped me with my project over the years. First would be my parents, Chris and Melanie Menge, who have driven me to rabbit shows, 4-H meetings, and fairs I’ve gone to, such as the Evergreen State Fair, Silvana Community Fair, and Washington State Fair. Along with all that, they have paid most expenses, such as feed, cages, the animals themselves, most equipment like toenail trimmers, lab coats, showmanship carpet, even the building my animals live in, and much, much more. I also thank Maria Benjamin, who led the Greensleeves rabbit project when I joined and gave me my first showmanship rabbit; Stacy DeKoekkoek, who currently runs the Greensleeves 4-H club and rabbit project; and many more.
Queen - Mara Lautzenhiser
Hello! My name is Mara Lautzenhiser. I am in the 11th grade at Glacier Peak High School in Washington State. I have been raising Jersey Woolies for 9 years and Californians for two. I just started raising Champagne D’ Argents, and American cavies in Red and Cal Pattern. I am so excited to start this new adventure. I am also in 4-H and FFA. In 4-H, I am in the Rabbit, Cavy, Vet Science, Creative Arts, Photography, Gardening, Public Presentations, and Livestock Judging projects. In FFA, I do rabbits and vet science. I also do Livestock shows. During the year, I attend a lot of ARBA and 4-H shows in the Pacific Northwest. I have also been going to West Coast Classic for the last two years. If I have free time, I like to play video games with friends, read books, write stories, and do art projects. My dream is to keep raising rabbits and cavies, become an ARBA judge, and be a veterinarian who works on rabbits and cavies to help out the rabbit and cavy raising community. I have my Registrar’s license, so I’ve been working shows and registering lots of rabbits. I would like to give a shout out to all of the people who have helped me along the way: my Greensleeves club friends, my Snohomish County 4H Rabbit Program friends, all of my out of county 4-H friends, my mom; Jenny Lautzenhiser, Kody Friedrich, Maria and Josh Benjamin, Nicole Petersen, Wanda Weber, Charlotte Parry, Kelsi Ramos, Susan Browne, Jodi and Martin Davis, Stacy Dekoekoek, Tiffany McCoy, Laura Valleries, Heidi McCurdy, Emma Ward, Bella Stouffer, Carolynn Olmstead, Lily Felure, Katie Davis, Carlie Boling, Liz Nichols, Jan Mccollough, Mary Whitney, Ashley Mahaffey, Katelyn Metzger, Bethany Robertson, Callie Weber, Reni Jenks, Autumn Dennistoun, Michaelle Merkel, Bill Kimmel, George Germaine, Nancy Richmond, Heidi and Aidan McCurdy, The Huebner family, the Studly family, and the Herman family, Rachel Gatlin, and Griffin Harrah. These people have been a big help to me in my rabbit and cavy projects. I would also like to thank all the people who made the Washington State Convention possible, but especially Kelsi Ramos and Callie Weber, and all the youth contest volunteers for having the energy and love to put on these youth competitions. It is an honor representing Washington and all the youth competitors. Happy Showing Everyone!
