In 1954 the Washington State Rabbit and Cavy Breeders Association, established on July 14, 1946, changed its name to the Washington State Rabbit Breeders Association (WSRBA).

Our goal is “to promote, encourage, and advance the raising of domestic rabbits for meat, fur wool, laboratory and show purposes; to provide opportunities to breeders to improve their knowledge and skills; and to take appropriate action to advance all phases of the rabbit industry in the State of Washington.”
